PHILIP LEES IS A FRANCO  AMERICAN COMPOSER. HE COMPOSES FOR BOTH FEATURE  FILMS AND TELEVISION. He has also produced songs for various pop stars in the USA

Born in Louisville Kentucky, Philip Lees is a franco-american composer, arranger, orchestrator ,music programmer and pianist.  He grew up and has studied music in Los Angeles and Paris. He has also  studied at the Berklee college of Music in Boston, Mass. and has studied orchestration privately with Albert Harris, (composer and orchestration teacher at UCLA,  Musical Director for NBC , composer and  orchestrator for : " The streets of san Francisco", "Charlie's angels", "Cannon", etc )

Phil grew up around music. His dad was GENE LEES , chief editor for jazz magazine” Downbeat” in the US.

Gene was also a lyricist for Antonio Carlos Jobim, Frank Sinatra, Bill Evans or Milton Nascimiento.

This allowed Phil from his teenage years on, to spend extensive time with music luminaries such as Quincy Jones,Lalo Schiffrin, Henry Mancini  and Oscar Peterson. Read Gene Lees' obituary in
